Pastor Jayce O'Neal has a heart to reach the lost and broken, while investing
in emerging leaders. He comes from a long line of pastors, youth
pastors, and children's ministers. In fact, Pastor Jayce participated
frequently in his family's consulting efforts to ministries all across
the country, as well as internationally. He has a Doctorate, two
Masters, a Bachelor of Science, and a small trophy for perfect
attendance in Sunday school when he was nine. His past Ministry roles
have included Interim Lead Pastor, Zone Servant, Youth Director, Drama
Director and Small Group Leader.
In addition, Pastor Jayce has authored four books, appeared on networks such as CW, National Geographic and the Discovery Channel, and he is also a college professor at Regent University. He currently resides with his fantabulous wife in the Virginia Beach area.
He & Erica have two beautiful daughters and a baby boy!

He is a huge sports fan. He cheers for the Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Lions, Pistons, Tigers, and Red Wings. He is also an avid supporter of the New England Patriots.
In addition, he has an extensive arts background as an actor, director, writer, and is an all around creative type.
Being a writer himself, Pastor Jayce loves to read. His favorite works of fiction includes Lord of the Rings, Where the Sidewalk Ends and The Princess Bride. Some of his favorite nonfiction books include Celebration of Disciplines, The Question of God, A Year with C.S. Lewis, and Launch.
Having been involved in films/TV in the past, Pastor Jayce has a wide varied taste in movies and TV. He enjoys genre pieces like The Avengers, Lord of the Rings, Lonesome Dove or Twilight Zone, but he also enjoys classics such as The Andy Griffith Show, The A-Team, and Bonanza. However, if the TV is on, there is an 85% chance it is a football game.
Pastor Jayce is an annual Fantasy Football participant. Pastor Jayce always seems to be a contender.

LaToya Perry is energized by her love for God and often incorporates her passion to dance in her worship. She enjoys adding spontaneous and creative elements to any environment she is a part of. LaToya thrives off of expression through performing arts, youth ministry, and launching others into their God-given purpose.

Adam Woods has a heart for ministry. He has served in multiple areas of ministry, from music and media to small groups. He loves to encourage people in their walk with the Lord. Adam has been married to Sara for 12 years and they have two wonderful kids, Brayden and Mia.
Fun Fact: Adam can blow spit bubbles ;-)
Sarah Witmer has a heart for community and discipleship. She loves to be a part of life transformation in others as they grow in their relationship with Jesus. She believes that kids and youth are an incredibly important group to minister to as it is the most influential time in a person's life. Sarah is motivated by the opportunity to take part in the foundational stage of a believer's walk with Christ.
Fun Fact: Sarah loves food and is always up for a foodie adventure.
Sharon Jackson is passionate about pursuing the heart of God, Sharon has been leading worship since she was 13. She is Inspired by various styles and genres of music, and enjoys creating a diverse worship experience at RED Church. Sharon has a heart for missions, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Divinity at Regent University.
Fun Fact: Sharon enjoys good coffee and conversation with friends, DIY projects, and random thrift store adventures.
Valerie Thornton is a second grade girls’ teacher at Norfolk Academy. A native of Queens, New York, Mrs. Thornton has lived most of her life in Virginia. She graduated from The University of Virginia in 1987 after which she moved to the Hampton Roads area. She earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from Regent University in 1995. Mrs. Thornton resides in Virginia Beach with her husband and their daughters.
Fun Fact: Valerie is an amazing cook and is she is known for her carrot cake.
Nathan Schmitt loves to serve in the church and see lives restored by the love and power of Jesus Christ. He has been involved in church media since his early teens. On Sundays at RED, he is right at home operating the church computer or supporting the visual media team. Nathan is also currently pursuing a Master's in Public Administration at Regent University.
Fun Fact: Hailing from the great State of Ohio, Nathan is an ardent Buckeye fan. This makes for lively banter and much grace to go around between him and Pastor Jayce. =)
