Impact your neighbors by serving your community. At RED Church, we have a heart to reach out beyond the church walls and make a Christ-shaped impact in Virginia Beach. 

We participate in various outreach opportunities during different times of the year, including: distributing water bottles at the Oceanfront, serving breakfast to the homeless, cleaning up trash in local neighborhoods, and spending time with nursing home residents. Our main goal in outreach is to show the love of God to our community in a kind and practical way.

BAptism

The Bible clearly teaches that baptism is the first step of obedience after committing to Christ. Baptism allows you to profess your faith in Jesus to the world. People often have questions regarding baptism: Why should I be baptized? I’ve already been baptized. Do I have to do it again? Growth Track

Ready to take the next step in your faith but not sure how? Join the Growth Track! The Growth Track includes four gatherings for you to 1) connect to the church, 2) discover the strengths of your purposeful design, 3) develop your personal leadership, and 4) use your God-given gifts to make a difference in the lives of others.

WHAT TYPES OF SMALL GROUPS ARE THERE?

  • community Groups

    Grow spiritually and connect with others in community. Community Groups meet weekly over the course of multiple semesters to build strong friendships. These groups offer the opportunity for members to support and invest in each other on a relational and spiritual level. Members of all ages, stages of life, and spiritual maturity are welcome.

  • short term groups

    Discover how to apply Scripture in your life today. Short-Term Groups meet for 6 to 12 weeks to discuss one main topic. Some groups take a deeper look at Sunday messages while others may focus on Bible study or prayer. These groups are great for people of all ages and backgrounds. We also frequently offer groups especially for youth (6th-12th grade), college students, men, and women. 

  • starting point groups

    Wondering about Jesus or the Bible? Starting Point Groups meet weekly for 8 to 12 weeks and provide an opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a very safe, non-threatening environment. In fact, no question is off-limits. During this group, you will experience a taste of what it is like to be in community with other people on a similar journey.
